Your donation matched through Dec 31! Monterey County Gives opens for donations on November 9! Over time, First Night has expanded its passion for families and the arts to be a year-round experience, with workshops, festivals and kids’ programming. Our outreach project, "Artworks!", brings together young people to take part in performing and visual arts at community sites in Monterey and Greenfield. Through the year-round Artworks! program – culminating in the New Year’s celebration of visual and performing arts – First Night hopes to encourage involvement and love for the arts. Help us keep the Arts in childrens' lives!

"Button-up" for 9 hours of entertainment! From Jazz to Blues, from Rock to Folk! FNM 2024 will have a line-up of over 65 performances designed to delight the entire family.

Monterey Center for Spiritual Living: This beautiful Sanctuary will resound with mellow sounds and great arrangements throughout the night!
The Golden State Theater and Monterey Conference Center feature music, art and community! Dance to the sounds of live bands; Celtic, Folk, Jazz, Marimba are just a few of the sounds you will hear. Sneak Peeks will continue to expand throughout November!

POSTER/BUTTON DESIGN CONTEST RESULTS FOR FNM 2024!
Since 2003, First Night Monterey staff has collaborated with CSUMB and the Service Learning class for Publication Design students, engaging the students into a creative competition to design the annual First Night Monterey Poster and Buttons. FNM artists work with the design students from theme concept to design for five weeks in class until selection of the final design. The winner will have the opportunity to produce the graphics for print and web.
