First Night Monterey's Summer Art Day Camps are designed to develop positive, creative thinking for children, using arts as a catalyst!
Celebrating 20 years of First Night Monterey, A Community Celebration of the Arts in Historic Downtown Monterey

Camp projects include drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, puppetry, mixed media, printmaking and performance art! First Night Staff are professional artists and teachers.

Our goal is to nurture creativity and enhance art skills in a non-competitive, safe, fun environment. No prior experience or talent is needed! We will have fun outdoor activities, play-time and one field trip. Each Friday we will have a performance or gallery exhibit of the work completed during the camp week.

Day Camps are Monday through Friday, 9:30 am to 4:00 pm. Optional extended day supervision is available for a modest fee. Family discounts apply when more than one child attends; call the First Night Monterey office for family discount information.
