Admission Buttons can be purchased at a discounted price online through early December, and for a pre-event price online and at our retail locations through December 30, 2011. Buying a button ensures that First Night Monterey offers the best in community arts and performing acts. Your button supports the First Night Monterey celebration and directly supports the performers fees. 95% of FNM venues are indoors, and an admission button is your ticket to these performances! Watch for sales of 2013 buttons to start in November, 2012: Best prices will be for online purchases made before December 10, 2012.
First Night buttons are not refundable - First Night is a rain or shine event!
Children 5 and under are admitted FREE!

2012 BUTTON DESIGN
Raissa Figueroa is the designer of the First Night Monterey 2012
poster and buttons; she also designed the Greenfield Harvest
Festival poster image for First Night Monterey. A senior at CSU
Monterey Bay and a first-generation hispanoamerican, Raissa is
majoring in graphic design. She plans to pursue work as a designer or
an illustrator after graduation and she is considering applying to a
masters program at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. Raissa
loves drawing, hiking, biking, and pursuing life with spontaneity.
Bobbi Long, Associate Professor of Communication Design at
California State University of Monterey Bay (CSUMB), teaches the
Publication Design and Service Learning. Her students compete to provide the
graphics for the First Night Monterey poster design and the Greenfield
Harvest Festival.
If You Purchase Your Buttons Online
First Night Monterey DOES NOT ship buttons. Your buttons will be available for pickup at the event Will-Call booth on December 30 and 31, 2011. Bring your receipt with the confirmation number (printed or on your cell phone) and identification. There is a nominal handling fee of $2 per order.
