- From 3 pm to midnight, multiple music/dance venues with several performances at each venue - Over 65 performances!
- Interactive Art Stations, including the Resolution Sculpture; record your hopes and dreams for the coming year
- Twilight Procession at 5:30 pm
- Countdown-to-Midnight Finale Performance!
Admission Buttons can be purchased for a pre-event price online now and at our retail locations throughout December. Buying a button ensures that First Night Monterey offers the best in community arts and performing acts. Your button purchase supports First Night Monterey and directly supports the artists fees. Many FNM venues are indoors, and an admission button is your ticket to these performances! Buttons purchased at our retail partners make great Stocking Stuffers or Secret Santa gifts.

FNM 2017 BUTTON DESIGNER
Annalisa Lopez is the designer of the First Night Monterey 2017 Poster and Buttons. Annalisa graduated from California State University Monterey Bay in Spring 2016 with a Bachelors of Science in Communication Design with an Emphasis in Visual Design. Annalisa Is from the Bay area, lives in San Jose and is now working in Palo Alto for SAP where she is a programmer for the S4/HANA team. She also works free lance as a graphic designer and has helped rebrand three small companies in the San Francisco, Santa Clara and Chicago areas. Annalisa is honored to be the winner of the 2017 First Night Monterey design contest.
Bobbi Long, Associate Professor of Communication Design at
California State University of Monterey Bay (CSUMB), teaches Graphic Design and
Publication Workshop. Her students compete to provide the
